Eat more fiber?!!


I read an interesting article the other day. It suggested that the average American eats about 20g of fiber per day. That compares to the approximately 100g that our ancestors used to eat. That is a massive difference.


In fact, the manifestation of that difference was confirmed in another study which suggested that 62% of European adults have some 5-6kg of stored pooh! No crap! Well, actually it is – literally and metaphorically. It’s just not good for us.







The obvious solution is for us to eat more good food with lots of fiber. Examples of foods which contain a lot of fiber:


Beans

Vegetables

Berries

Avocado

Apples
